Tranexamic acid is a quasi-drug active ingredient that applies to use in cosmetic formulation. Tranexamic acid can inhibit activated melanocytes when continue to produce melanin when exposed to UV rays. It can activation of melanocytes and inhibit skin roughness. The benefit of tranexamic acid is skin whitening and reduce dark spot.
